Engineering
What 10,000 Tons of Pressure Creates.
Every Xolaris wheel starts as a solid billet of 6061-T6 aluminum. A 10,000-ton forging press compresses that billet into a near-net shape, aligning the aluminum's internal grain structure for maximum density and strength. Multi-axis CNC machining then carves the final geometry to tolerances measured in hundredths of a millimeter. The result is a wheel that is lighter than cast, stronger than flow-formed, and engineered to meet the load demands of the heaviest production EV on the road.
