Cybertruck Offset & Clearance Calculator

Enter a wheel and tire to see how it compares with the factory Cybertruck setup: overall tire diameter, speedometer change, how far the wheel sits out (poke) and how much room it leaves on the inboard side. Every figure is calculated from nominal dimensions.

-20 to +60 mm. Factory: +58.5.

Calculated from nominal dimensions, not measured

Compared with stock, this setup sits 27.9 mm further out and its tire is 0.4% shorter.

Inner clearance vs OEM

Positive poke sits further out than the factory wheel; positive inner clearance is more room on the inboard side. Reads about 0.4% high: at an indicated 60 mph the truck is doing about 59.8 mph. A mounted tire measures slightly differently by brand and model, and actual clearance depends on ride height, steering and suspension travel, so we confirm the offset for your build before machining.

How does the Cybertruck offset calculator work?

The calculator compares your wheel and tire with the factory Cybertruck setup, a 20 x 9.0J wheel at ET+58.5 on 285/65R20 tires. It calculates overall tire diameter, the speedometer change, how far the outer lip moves out and how much inboard room changes, all from nominal dimensions rather than measurements.

Tire diameter (in) = rim diameter + 2 × (section width mm × aspect ratio ÷ 100) ÷ 25.4

Outer lip (mm) = rim width in × 25.4 ÷ 2 − offset

Inner lip (mm) = rim width in × 25.4 ÷ 2 + offset

Poke vs OEM = outer lip − 55.8 mm; inner clearance vs OEM = 172.8 mm − inner lip

The factory references, 55.8 mm and 172.8 mm, are the outer and inner lip of the 20 x 9.0J ET+58.5 wheel by the same formulas. Flotation sizes such as 35x12.50R24 use their stated diameter and width. The speedometer error is the same percentage as the diameter change: a taller tire makes the speedometer read low, a shorter one makes it read high.

Offset inputs run from -20 to +60 mm. The widebody field takes the added width per side published by the kit maker; the result, that width minus the poke, is an approximate remaining flare coverage, not a measurement.

What do poke and inner clearance tell you?

Poke and inner clearance show how a wheel's position changes against the factory wheel. Positive poke means the outer lip sits further out toward the fender; positive inner clearance means more room between the inner lip and the suspension. Neither number shows whether a setup touches the truck at full steering lock.

Contact depends on the tire's real dimensions, the suspension height you drive at, steering angle and suspension travel, so treat these numbers as a comparison, not a verdict. When you request a quote, we confirm the offset for your build before machining.
